Description
Reproduction of buckles for footwear from the late 18th century. Anacronicos.com Collection.
We love to dress in the past and we are always looking for treasures to improve our outfits! We were fortunate to buy an original buckle at Portobello Market (Peter Grrenhalgh Antique Shop), manufactured in the late 18th century by William and Jhon Deane. These brothers began their journey as goldsmiths in 1759, located in their workshop on Whitecross Street in London, very close to St. Paul’s Cathedral.
It was love! And you already know that if we like it we cannot stop sharing it. It was difficult but we already have it here. Our Portobello buckle and it is Perfect!
- Made entirely in brass.
